So last night I took my boy friend (well half dragged him) and my best friend to go see Rio! (There really isn't any good movies out yet). Anywho we decided to go see this movie in 3d and it ended up (I was paying for 2 tickets, one for me and one for John since he'd paid for dinner) and for the 2 tickets. it cost 29.00 for cereal. When did movies and gas get so expensive?! I don't even remember a time when they were cheaper anymore. I understand it's 3D but why must movie theaters feel the need to bring amazing 3D to everything tease you with it and then jack up the price. Con Artists I tells you Con Artists! So the movie was so adorable, although it was a kids movie and alot of the plot was expected I still liked it. I think even John thought it was good hehe. Im not going to tell you even what it's about because either you've already heard or you can guess the entire movie from me just telling you about it. Anne Hathaway was such a good voice as the female bird Jewel. I would have figured she couldn't get into a cartoony animal voice but she did. Jesse Eisenberg (who I thought was Micheal Cera in the commercials) of course fit the role of very careful and finiky Blu himself and it was a no brainer they put George Lopez in as the Tucan that guides them. Other roles went to Will.I.am and Jamie Fox (they did a number together) and Tracy Morgan as the bulldog. Seemed fitting I thought the dog looked quite like him..not sure about the vast amounts of dog drool though :P.
