Wands At Ready!

Im in Orlandoooooo! I'm so excited to be here (im typing on Tuesday just because Sunday and Monday I was just so tired from the day) Unfortunitly It's raining and coldish and I have to endure an ENTIRE week without my love John, but I can't complain too much when I'm in one of my favorite and beautiful places in the entire world!

So Sunday was just a gettin ready for the week day. We woke up at 6am <--- yup for an 11am flight but hey, my family's prepared! But I got so bored on the plane that i wrote this on the plane :P :

This morning began early. Especailly for me. I woke up at 2am.. went back to sleep due to the fact i’d be crazy to not sleep anymore but woke up an hour earlier then I was planning to due to the fact that I got a call from John as well as lately I’ve just been doing this like a schedual. Knowing I have a day ahead of me and waking up an hour early. I blame Anxiety. I have it bad for everything now. John, work, the whole day! Anyways, We were in the car with bags and all at 7 which was FREEZING!!!! Oh man am I ever ready for 90 degree weather! I also wore flats so when I had to travel around obsticles my poor feet were covered in snow D: bleh! It’s hard to dress going from freezing cold to hot because the etire is so differen t. Anyways we got on the highway and it felt like we were going to my school since we were headed in the Niagara Falls/ Buffalo direction. It felt like forever since im used to just going to Niagara Falls. When we got to the airport we crammed in the shuttle and headed for the airport. While we were waiting however Michelle had the sudden urge to pull a Tim Hortons coffee holder with gross things on it out of the garbage EWWW! Im not letting her forget that! Hahaha. The airport always brings back childhood memories, mostly waiting though since everything seems longer when your a kid. We had breakfast at this random Bar/eatery place. It was DISGUSTING! I had a breakfast sandwich because I thought it would be okay like the Tim Hortons one.. But nope. It was a gross bun with processed cheese, a huge greasy slab of egg( why does egg need to be greasy anyways) and an okay little sausage. Ugh. No wonder I had a stomach ache after. We walked around a while after with a couple hours to spare. Michelle was still in a daze that some one had actually called her “M’amm’ at security hahaha. Later we ended up boarding the plane, of which I’m on now! It amazes me that so many people can be up in the air like this, I dont know why but it does. There was even a sign in the terminal that said “right now 500,000 people are up in the air” sound silly because if you just thought about the sentence without incorpreting it with airplanes it would sound like there was just 500,000 people just floating around in the air! I also think it’s so  cool you cantake laptops in the air with you too. I’m easily amused aren’t I? Seems like a pretty boring day today but thats usually what the first day is about.. waiting.

Anyways Monday as rainy as it was, so far has been my favorite day! We decided to go to Islands of Adventure! Home to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Oh man was I excited to go

It was definitly worth being excited about. Espcially after 40 min of Antici....pation when I managed to get us lost with a Gps *frown (only me!) We walked in wet but it was worth the rain when we walked in to Hogsmeade and it was then I think we all felt that tingly magical feeling you get when your excited or extatic! There was Butter Beer, the train, a candy shop, Ollivanders, the castle.. and more! They were all small much like the real ones and every detail was tended to.

We tried going on dueling dragons or dragon challenge..which ever it is now first. at least we got to see the inside which was all Goblet of Fire inspured, The Tri Wizard cup and the Goblet of fire were both in there. And when you got to the ride it had the apperance of a tent with a dragons shadow constintly roaring and swooping overhead "waiting" for you to challenge him. Of course we had to go on at the end of the day since at first it was closed due to lightnung but when we eventually got on it was a crazy good loopy rollercoaster and the two dragons come up and look like they nearly hit each other!

Another thing we tried was Butter Beer. My family and I were'nt personally fans. Everyones been raving about them and my boyfried said that it's amazing but I suppose it just wasnt for us. What it tastes like is a blend of creme soda and butterscotch. I still encourage all to try it if you get the chance since everyone has different taste buds.

2 Last things. We ended up going in the casle which happened to be MY favorite part of Wizarding World was the castle. It was just as anyone could've imagined it! As you are guided by the waiting lines, with everything memorable, the talking pictures that move, Dumbledore's office and a Holligram Dumbledore welcomes you to the Hogwarts castle. In another room, Ron, Hermiony and Harry are also Holligramed (and looks so real!!). The ride is part real (well you know what I mean when I say real) and part motion movie ride. It was amazing. Scary to some people but amazing

The last thing, Ollivanders. After standing in line for an hour an a half, we finally got to Ollivanders (luckily we had something warm to eat) and got in. We would've been able to buy it at a vender but they closed I guess due to weather. When we got in they did the whole demonstration of Harry getting his first want with a random little girl:

It was cute. When we finally got in it was just like a wand shop/ owl post. How fun!

                                                               Wands At Ready! I ended up getting Ginny's wand (although I can't wait for Luna's wand to get in the summer. They're also releasing Mad eye Moody, Bella Trix the Strange, and Cedric) and Michelle (my sister) Got Dumbledores.

Amour

If I haven't mentioned him before in these posts. I have the most amazing boyfriend. Johnathan.

He's amazing, picture the perfect boyfriend. Hes 10000000X better! Example a few nights ago he took me out to see the movie Beastly. (If that wasn't good enough to say this boy is amazing idk what is) but earlier I had told him that everytime I have a coke slushie it reminds me of Disneyworld. Well, there we were driving.. but not yet in the direction of the movie theaters but rather the convinience store and he also bought me mint chocolate aero bar. (can it get any better?) Many of you are probably thinking "pshh okay what did he do wrong?..." But nope. He's the kind of guy who does this out of his heart. The heart I fell so quickly in love with a year and a bit ago. Still doesn't feel that long. And if your still not convinced he's amazing. Last night's suprise was this:

Anyways I'm going away Sunday as you know so I have a feeling it's to do with the fact he's proving he cares before I go. He knows I'm nervous because of what a previous guy did to me last time I had a vacation (not John but rather one that shall not be named). I trust in my heart that John couldn't possibly do that to our love. I can see it in his eyes and I can feel it too. Anyways till tomorrow!

Sorry I havent posted lately, I have a big big exam coming up today (and yes im up at 5am and im out of my mind!) so I've been studying and just been nervous like crazy. Heads up I probably won't post again till Florida just because I'll have a crazy work and boyfriend seeing schedual this week

A friendly Hairdresser warning

In these times coming across money is hard. The funds are low and I have so many customers coming in who have used drug store colours because its all they could afford at the time between paychecks. I understand that this might be a money saver at the time but really in the long run, most of these people will be spending more for what the drug store brands do to them.

First you should know this. The words every hairdresser will shudder like the one who shall not be named to are Nice and Easy as well as Pantiene. Let me explain. Pantine is a horror story to hair. It coats your hair and makes it feel good at the first time but after several uses continues to make the coat gross and icky. Theres even been talk of hair falling out after using it. Now to take on Nice and Easy. Where do I begin? All the bad drug store names have the same effect. They are filled with this chemical called Ammonia. No not the type you get when your sick but a alkalizing agent which is used to quickly distribute the colour to the hair. This is bad. Alot of salon products are found with less ammonia and although it wont save you from colour damage if you keep colouring your hair it will have less of an effect to make your hair feel like hay then N+E. Another thing. We have to fix alll sorts of mistakes. Dont get me wrong thats what we're here for but when you go to the drug store to get the cheap kind, you will be paying more to get your hair to a more natural colour that looks right and not too red or anything. (like i was saying before). A big tip though if you ever find yourself in a drugstore looking at the colour boxes. Do NOT under any cercumstances choose Ash. At the salon it's fine but the bad quality of the drug store colours will leave your hair with an unknown shade of Green hair. Yup green. Fixable but if your waiting for an appointment to get a violet shade to fix it.. your going to regret that :S.

Anyways good luck in all your hair colouring endevers. Sorry for the horror story but I just want everyone to know that salon is DEFINITLY best.

Mamma Mia thats a good Dip ;)

I'd like to share with you my favorite dip in the ENTIRE WORLD! Im not kidding, wbere I'm from we call this dip 'Jesus Dip' because it's so good it seems as though he himself made it. Although it's flaming hot, It's bareable and probably adjustable for the amount of Franks Red Hot sauce put in. What it is though its a bunch of chicken mixed in melted cream cheese, blue cheese dressing, and of course a bottle of good ol' Frank's Red Hot! It's a bit pricey to make. On another note the Saturday before John and I went to our friend Laura's house for a wonderful suprise! All she had said was there would be a suprise food night but it turned out to be a mysterious blast. When we got there Laura and her boyfriend Jon (yup I know alot of John/Jons) were already cookin in the kitchen like pro chefs. We were with a couple tables of people and all of us were given sheets. On them were options of songs in different categories. So we were told to pick songs and that was what we would be ordering for the evening. It was so hilarious! Not only were we picking the food blindly but also our utensles which turned out to be: Chopsticks, fork, spoon....or nothing at all. Only one girl got no fork at all which happend to be the most polite and girly out of the bunch but she was a trooper and stuck to it! We also got to blindly pick out bowls which the options were Disney songs : 'Every body wants to be a cat', 'Circle of Life' and 'Colours of the Wind'. So Circle of Life was a plate of course...y'know round, Colours of the wind was a bowl, and the option I picked (Everybody wants to be a Cat) happened to be a danty little.... punch glass!! haha well I guess it could have been worse.. I could have had to eat Spagetti out of a cat dish or worse.. the floor :S. All in all I would recommend anyone try this and add their own little spice to it.(ps sorry I'll try to get pics if they put them up on facebook!)

I carried a Watermelon?!

We'll another dull day is ahead of me till my vactation. Work work work, and then later I'm going to see the movie Rango with some friends. Not my first choice. I mean it is Johnny Depp. But It is also Nickalodean. Don't get me wrong, I mean my whole childhood was watching Hey Arnold, Rugrats, All that and Catdog with cheesestrings, but lately you have to admit the big screen pictures coming from them are kinda...sorta...crap. The example that I'll use 'The last airbender'. In all fairness it's directed by  M. Night Shyamalan so (as my friends would say) it was doomed as soon as you saw it was directed by him. They could have made it amazing but the action and special effects were kinda.. bland. Like expecting a really sweet strawberry and getting one that isn'\t ready yet. I'll keep you updated on what I thought of Rango.

Speaking of movies I have a craving to watch my favorite movie 'Dirty Dancing' *sigh* I get lost in that movie everytime I watch it! I've been thinking of buying a pair of those white shoes baby wears when she's pracing dancing with Johnny and making a baby inspired outfit, curled hair and all! :D

Antici............Pation

  Arg 18 whole more days till I leave for FLORIDA!! Thing is though when It's right in this medium between so close and soo far, it's all you can think about. Sunny beaches, shopping, and of course getting to wonder around the new Harry Potter World in Islands of Adventure (of which I've never been to before) 8). Sometimes I wish this anticiapation would go away but I also think its the most fun part of it! The buildup towards something fun and wonderful. Its just important not to build it up too much or else there might be much dissapointment when the time comes.

 On another note I have to eat TWICE as healthy today. Turns out yesterday I was good with a omlette and salade for breakfast and lunch but when It came to dinner, I was hanging out with John's friends annnnnd there was pizza :(. Eh, you gotta live a little. Looks like it's fruits veggies and good protein for me today! (Y)

Let's get HEALTHY

Today is a good day for excersize :)

Lately I've been beggining to get healthier. Not just for the fact I'm going to florida in a few weeks, but because I'm tired of feeling sluggish from what I think is lack of sunshine, healthy food and good excersize. Henseforth, I am proposing to myself and anyone else who wants to join me in getting toned, motivated and healthy to join me :). So far I've been doing really good. Eating healthy shouldnt be too big of a change for me personally. Generally If I go to a resteraunt I'm more likely going to order salmon and broccoli rather then a burger and fries. However, I have a weekness. I admit to it. J'dore Chocolate <3 mmm When I'm feeling sad chocolate is there to console me as well as anything sweet. Now I'm not a big girl I'm curvy but not fat. So the solution is to cut down on chocolate and increase on the fruit and vegtables simple enough right? Wrong.

Let me tell you I have been with battles of weight for the longest time (not anymore I've found a comfortable weight of which I'm proud of) but years in the past I have had anorexia, depression , the whole works. It must have been the hardest thing to come out of that set of mind to not want to eat but when I did I packed on 40 pounds from being my tiniest (90 pounds sadly). Also, because my body was deprived of good fats and nutrients for so long, when I finally went back I just let myself splurge with food. Wrrronnng Idea. I should have gone and trained my body to eat more of the healthy foods rather then fatty foods. That was about 3 years ago and now I'm just starting to  get back into healthy habits and confidence, I currently weigh in the 130's which is about 10 pounds more then before I was anorexic. I found re-assurance in a new boyfriend who rather then the one I had when I was recovering adn eating more (made comments implying i was fat when I was 115 lbs) calls my body beautiful and sexy everytime I'm with him. As well I made 2 friends in a couple of the schools I went to in my journey to where I am today who both went through what I had gone through. Therefor the rest was easy.

Now (like I said) I'm just going to be working on getting toned and healthy. Already I've been working out just in my room for about an hour, and Sunday night insead of sitting around watching television in my hotel room in Niagara Falls, I worked up the motivation to go down to the work out room and you know what? IT FELT GREAT. So far today I woke up with a vegtable and meat omlette plentiful of nutrients and worked out for a bit (since this is the only day I'll probably have free time work is CRAZZZY).

If you should know me you should know my taste in cars. First My Favorite car is a Jeep. But I also can't deny my love interest for camaros *sigh just daydreaming thinking about it.

Spring? pshhh It's still Winter

So today I was shopping with a friend in Mapleveiw Mall and I mentioned I needed a Winder coat. She looked at me like a crazy person. "It's the end of winter you do realize by the time you get one.. you wont need one" She says. Maybe I am a crazy person and yes I did buy a hat that was slightly knit and turned towards winter butcha KNOW WHAT....?... Maybe I am the smart one after all. This mall is expensive and boyy I do not have a celebrity's income but buying a winter coat when every coat goes on sale might just be the most ingenious thing ever thought. You see, by buying it on sale even if you don't get to wear it right away you save an increadable amount not to mention the fact that next winter you'll look in your closet and think "oh wow I forgot I had this amazing looking Jacket" and not feel guilty about spending a fortune on it! Anyways I'm still on the lookout.. so no cigar yet!

I am number four

Goooooood Morning EVERYONE!!!

I'd just like to say that  yesterday was a horrible day for me. Every little thing went wrong but you know what? It's okay. It's in times like that its up to YOU to say "Hey, this is my day and I'm going to turn it around and keep trying through those impossible times". Of course I'd lie if I'd say this worked 100% for me but it kept me going throughout the time I had to spend at work and up till I saw my boyfriend. Some how it turned around with a whole new atmosphere and thats another way to get completly out of that impossible time was to just walk away from the problem and surround myself with things that I know will be good and calming. Wheather its a workout exersize, music, or people I want to be with. It's in those times you need to look deep inside of yourself and find that strength that says "I dont want to be upset anymore!

Anyways just remember you can do it k? So I saw the movie "I am numer four". I don't quite know exacly what I expected when I thought of going to see it but I knew Diana Argon from Glee was in it along with Alex Pettyfer whos that cute blond haired guy that's going to also be in Beastly (which im Stoked to go see!!). The story goes "John Smith" is an human looking alien from another planet who is being hunted by these voldemort looking bad guys for being a future protector of his planet. He didnt really get that chance. The protectors numbers 1-3 are already gone and dead, and as they are scars appear on his leg. He finally stops running because he falls in love with Dianna Argon's charector Sarah Hart and the battle begins.

This was such a good movie I mean not like "OMG this is my new favorite movie of all rime" movie but worth seeing in theaters. What It reminded me of was the video game Fable. John has powers of light coming out of his hands and force of which he uses when In battle. Much like a charector you could find in a game. As well he has a cute little beagle companion that follows him around (with a secret you have to find out ;)). My boyfriend I think, was a little more estatic about this because he's alot more into alien movies then I am but I enjoyed it alot as well. Anywhoo. xoxo :)

Well.. While browsing around youtube amoungst my favorite youtube Gurus I found an amazing video by Kandee Johnson. The video teaches you how to take your old tshirts and turn them into wicked 80's looking cut off the shoulder shirts and you can judge for yourself how the result turned out! (yes sorry the picture was dark but it was night and rounding up a bunch of lights just seemed tedious)

Introduction to...well me?
